When dealing with heavy loads, it is vital to opt for a lifting chain that can adequately lift the load, ensuring that it will be able to handle the required weight, and not snap whilst doing so. Therefore, choosing the right chain sling for lifting heavy loads is paramount for health and safety reasons. At UK Lifting Equipment, we are pleased to offer our customers Duke chain slings, which can handle incredibly large loads, sure to meet your needs.

 

Within our Duke chain sling category, you will be able to discover all the lifting chain slings you might require, including everything from a single leg chain sling to a 4-leg chain sling, able to handle up to 65 tonnes. Such rigging slings are manufactured from an alloyed steel, which measure between 8mm to 32mm in terms of their thickness. 

 

Our Duke chain slings are customised according to the length and type of hook. So, when you place your order, you can select from C hooks (Clevis hooks) and self-locking hooks. The chains are supplied as standard with a length of 1m assembled, yet these may be extended up to 10m, with larger lengths available upon special request. They are also available in red or blue, totally nearly 70 different sling options. Additionally, there is also a shortener. Every one of our rigging slings meet the requirements of EN818-2.

 

As well as the usual Grade 8 lifting slings, we also provide our customers with the option of a Grade 10 lifting slings. It is worth noting that hese are  made from 200° tempered super alloy and have a safety factor of 4, and as with all lifting slings, are made specific to your requirements.
